Health Centre Pharmacist Grade 1/2 – Malabar

About the role

The Health Centre Pharmacist Grade 1/2 will join Justice Health NSW in Malabar, providing safe and effective medication dispensing and pharmacy services to patients and staff across the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of all medications.
• Provide high‑quality pharmacy advice and support to patients, clinicians and other staff.
• Conduct Best Possible Medication Histories and medication reconciliation for complex patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve medication‑related issues.
• Prioritise workload in high‑pressure situations while maintaining patient safety.
• Comply with vaccination requirements and uphold industry safety standards.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to manage competing tasks.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and patient‑centred care.
