Head of Strategic Projects

About the role

Scenic World is seeking an experienced Head of Strategic Projects to join its Leadership Team. This senior role will drive enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives, lead complex change programmes and ensure disciplined delivery of key projects that enhance performance, safety and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team, shaping and delivering strategic priorities.
• Partner across the business to remove barriers, align direction and drive outcomes.
• Lead and embed change across major cross‑functional initiatives.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of strategic projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and commercial discipline.
• Establish scalable project practices and governance frameworks that provide clear visibility and accountability.
• Own and continuously enhance the enterprise risk management framework.
• Lead Scenic World’s safety strategy, overseeing WHS systems, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Build organisational capability in project delivery, risk and safety disciplines and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Senior leader with a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise‑wide projects and transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at senior executive level.
• Strategic and commercially astute with strong governance and risk management experience.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence in a tourism or hospitality environment.
