Head of Sourcing – Oceania Region

About the role

The Head of Sourcing Oceania leads the regional sourcing organisation, aligning it with Nx Group global strategies and governance. This senior leadership position owns sourcing performance, budget, spend management and key commercial negotiations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire the Oceania Sourcing team, ensuring accountability and alignment with global policies.
• Own and manage the regional sourcing budget, providing full spend visibility and cost‑control initiatives.
• Partner with Sales during tendering and negotiation phases to deliver competitive, scalable sourcing solutions.
• Ensure effective sourcing coverage for global components (nacelles, towers, blades) and local TCI scopes.
• Lead supplier and subcontractor negotiations, securing strong commercial and contractual outcomes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate supply‑chain risks to ensure continuity, compliance and cost stability.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain roles within project‑based or industrial environments, preferably renewable energy.
• Proven people‑leadership experience in matrix organisations.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise, including negotiations and risk mitigation.
• Experience supporting sales and tendering activities is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Economics or related field; postgraduate qualifications or certifications are a plus.
• Analytical, resilient leader with excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
