Head of SEO

About the role

DNM Digital is seeking a Head of SEO to lead its SEO team and ensure high‑quality delivery for enterprise‑level clients. This player‑coach role blends hands‑on SEO expertise with strategic ownership and team development as the agency scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of five senior specialists and offshore VAs, running regular work‑in‑progress meetings and one‑on‑ones.
• Own performance risk reporting, ensure timely monthly reporting, link briefs and content orders.
• Personally manage a small portfolio of enterprise SEO clients, overseeing strategy, communication and commercial alignment.
• Support account teams with upsells, retention conversations and quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, translating strategy to the team and providing visibility on performance, risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of agency SEO experience with a proven track record of delivering results for enterprise clients.
• 2+ years of team‑management experience, including hiring, coaching and performance accountability.
• Strong communicator able to engage senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
• Highly organised, process‑driven and comfortable reviewing work and giving feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Deep technical SEO knowledge: crawlability, indexation, site architecture and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with KPI‑driven reporting frameworks and enterprise‑level client management.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of AI‑driven search behaviour and entity‑based SEO.
