Head of Regional Sales - APAC

About the role

The Head of Regional Sales – APAC will lead the defence sales organisation across Australia and the broader APAC region. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will shape strategy, unlock new markets and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with defence procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an APAC defence sales strategy to increase revenue, market share and order‑book growth.
• Own regional sales performance, manage forecasting, KPI tracking and target achievement.
• Lead, coach and scale a high‑performing sales team, embedding best‑practice account management.
• Build and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships, leading senior negotiations.
• Oversee all bid and tender activity, ensuring compliance, competitive positioning and clear win strategies.
• Analyse market trends and customer needs to shape value propositions and influence product positioning.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Product teams on sales planning, budgeting and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Deliver a regional marketing and communications plan that strengthens the brand and drives ROI.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the defence market, procurement rules and cycles.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue and order‑intake targets.
• Experience building and leading high‑performing teams in a matrix environment.
• Expertise in complex sales processes, high‑value bids and tenders.
• Strong commercial acumen and senior‑level negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing abilities and a proactive, self‑starter mindset.
• Australian work rights and willingness to travel as required.
