Head of People Operations - APAC

About the role

Civica is seeking an experienced, people‑focused leader to head Employee Relations and People Operations across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Based in Melbourne with a hybrid work model, you will guide a team of five specialists to deliver exceptional employee experiences and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Employee Relations and People Operations for the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Manage and develop a team of five People Operations and ER professionals.
• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations and case management.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of people processes.
• Support organisational change, restructures, acquisitions and transformation programmes.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of employment legislation in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
• Proven experience leading an Employee Relations or HR Operations function.
• Strong project and change‑management track record.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
