Head of Finance

About the role

As the Head of Finance at Askable, you will lead the financial function of a fast‑growing SaaS company based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will build and refine the financial frameworks that support rapid scaling and global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Support analysis of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, GRR, churn and ACV.
• Maintain cash‑flow forecasting and develop financial models to identify growth opportunities.
• Design and implement scalable accounting systems for international operations.
• Develop and optimise processes and procedures to match business growth.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and lead tax R&D initiatives.
• Optimise treasury practices, managing cash and investments.
• Recruit, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in building finance processes in a high‑growth, technology‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
• Leadership experience in recruiting and developing finance talent.
