Head Chef - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Head Chef in Southport. You will deliver exceptional service to residents so that their meal experience is to the highest standard, working in a busy, diverse and challenging role within a team of food creators.

Key responsibilities

• Create nutritious and healthy meals that meet the individual and diverse needs of residents
• Prepare and deliver food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
• Bring attention to food handling and hygiene standards
• Train and mentor the kitchen team to the expected standards
• Contribute to a warm, welcoming environment where residents enjoy meals together

Required profile

• Passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food
• Team player who takes pride in the quality of food prepared and served
• Ability to adapt menus to diverse individual needs
