About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Food Services Assistant for its Southport aged care home. The role centres on preparing food and drink for residents, keeping the kitchen clean and working with the team and residents to create meals that suit everyone's needs. Most of the shift is spent on your feet.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for every individual
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
