HCM Systems Administrator and Reporting Lead

About the role

We are seeking an HCM Systems Administrator and Reporting Lead to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia/Northern Territory. In this role you will support the implementation, administration and optimisation of our new Oracle Human Capital Management system and provide reporting and analytics to drive workforce decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the HCM platform, including configuration, workflows, security, user access and integrations.
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements and release activities, coordinating testing (PVT & UAT) and change‑management processes.
• Develop and maintain workforce reports, dashboards and analytics to support compliance, workforce planning and business decision‑making.
• Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, governance and compliance across the HCM environment.
• Collaborate with People & Culture, IT, Finance, Payroll and external vendors to deliver continuous improvements, automation and operational efficiencies.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, leverage AI capabilities and promote best‑practice HCM solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience administering contemporary HCM systems such as Oracle, SuccessFactors or Workday.
• Strong system configuration, data‑management and reporting expertise.
• Experience supporting system implementations or major upgrades.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability to manage competing priorities.
• Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
• Experience working in regulated or safety‑critical environments (healthcare, aviation, emergency services or not‑for‑profit).
