Guest Service Officer

About the role

The Guest Services Officer welcomes guests to the property, delivering an exceptional experience from check‑in through departure. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, this role is part of the Rooms Division and focuses on achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, assisting with check‑in, check‑out, inquiries and special requests.
• Perform administrative duties such as processing reservations, handling phone calls and maintaining accurate records.
• Address guests’ enquiries effectively and professionally.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication skills and a natural gift for engaging conversation.
• Dedication to creating unforgettable guest experiences.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Adept time‑management skills to ensure seamless operations.
• Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role with strong understanding of hotel operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, confident interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and occasional overnight shifts.
• Proficiency in using the OPERA system is an advantage.
