Guest Service Agent

About the role

As the first point of contact for guests at Pullman Cairns International, you will create warm, personalised experiences from arrival through departure. The role involves managing front‑desk operations, responding to guest enquiries, and collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless stays.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and handle guest enquiries with professionalism.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions, and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate guest records and adhere to brand standards and hotel procedures.
• Work closely with Front Office and other departments to deliver a cohesive guest experience.

Required profile

• Warm, friendly and professional attitude with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to stay calm and solution‑focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts.
• Previous front‑office or hospitality experience is valued, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Required skills

• Confidence using hotel technology; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded.
