About the role
Join CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions team in Melbourne as a Guest Relations Receptionist on a fixed‑term basis. You will deliver front‑of‑house service to clients and visitors in a premium corporate setting, supporting the Guest Relations team Monday‑Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reception desk and meeting‑room suites, ensuring a professional appearance and functionality.
- Welcome and assist clients and visitors, announce arrivals, and escort guests as required.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing feedback and resolving concerns promptly.
- Operate the Meeting Room Booking System (MRBS), handling bookings, cancellations, and amendments.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including catering, audio‑visual equipment, and room set‑ups.
- Assist in planning and executing client events, managing vendor coordination and on‑site supervision.
- Provide operational coverage and support for daily tasks, project work, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety policies and report incidents within required timeframes.
Required profile
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- High attention to detail and professional presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving and complaint‑resolution capabilities.
- Experience in corporate reception or a five‑star hotel environment.
