Groundskeeper

About the role

Medowie Christian School, part of Christian Education Ministries, is looking for a motivated team player to join its Maintenance Team. This full-time position is expected to start in January 2027 and involves helping maintain the school grounds and gardens, supporting minor classroom renovations and progressing the school's Agriculture program.

Key responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance
• Classroom repairs
• Site safety
• Equipment and tool management
• Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere and build strong relationships with students
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate general tasks and project work

Required profile

• A genuine person with a passion for working with children
• Valid driver's licence; willingness to obtain an MR licence (costs covered by the school) is desirable
• Skills or experience with a relevant trade
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and punctuality
