Grounds Maintenance Hand – South East Queensland

About the role

We are seeking a reliable general hand to join our grounds maintenance crew across multiple sites in South‑East Queensland. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced operators, performing mowing, slashing, trimming and general tidy‑up for council, commercial and government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Mow, line‑trim, edge and maintain grounds at a variety of locations.
• Assist operators with slashing and vegetation‑management tasks.
• Load, unload and transport equipment, tools and materials; set up and pack‑down sites.
• Clean and care for tools and equipment at the end of each day.
• Follow WHS procedures, wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform general yard duties at the depot as required.

Required profile

• Current clean C‑class car licence (required for travel between sites).
• Some experience with mowing, slashing or outdoor maintenance is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all Queensland weather.
• Reliable, punctual and able to take direction.
• Team player who is comfortable getting hands dirty.
