Graphic and Multimedia Designer (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Possability Group, part of the Independence Australia Group, is looking for a versatile Graphic and Multimedia Designer to join its Brand & Marketing team. This is a full-time, 6-month opportunity with the possibility of extension, based in West Footscray with a hybrid arrangement of 2-3 office days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging designs across print, digital, social media, campaigns and events.
• Edit video, develop motion graphics and create animated content for digital channels.
• Help shape creative concepts and bring ideas to life across formats.
• Work with existing footage and creative assets to produce polished content.
• Collaborate with designers, Marketing, Communications and other teams.
• Keep brands consistent, accessible and well presented.

Required profile

• Around 2-5 years' experience in graphic design, multimedia design or a similar creative role.
• Experience designing for both print and digital, including video editing and motion graphics.
• A portfolio showing creative thinking and versatility.
• Ability to juggle projects, adapt to changing priorities and work well with others.
• Experience in the not-for-profit, disability or community services sector is a bonus but not essential.

Required skills

• Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
• Good eye for typography, layout, colour and composition.
