Grants Officer

About the role

The Grants Officer will support the full grants lifecycle for a purpose‑driven organisation working closely with Aboriginal organisations, communities and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage grant processes from application through to completion, including assessment, administration, compliance and acquittals.
• Review grant applications, documentation and financial information to support informed decision‑making.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and high‑quality documentation relating to grant activities.
• Maintain accurate records and data integrity within the grants management system.
• Support the development and improvement of grants policies, procedures and processes.
• Engage with stakeholders, monitor outcomes, identify risks and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience or knowledge of grants management, finance, administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Culturally capable approach with sensitivity to Aboriginal peoples and communities.
• Desirable tertiary qualification in business, administration, finance or related discipline.

What we offer

• Competitive salary $85,000–$105,000 per annum with 12% superannuation.
