APS5 Grants Funding Arrangement Manager

About the role

A Federal Government Agency, represented by Karlka Recruiting Group, is looking for an experienced APS5 Grants Funding Arrangement Manager to join its grants management team in Darwin. The role supports the delivery of government-funded community programs across Australia, working with funded organisations and key stakeholders to make sure grant-funded services meet their intended outcomes. It is a long-term contract running until 30 June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of funding agreements, monitoring recipient performance against contractual obligations and program outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with funded organisations and stakeholders, giving advice, guidance and support.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, compliance issues and emerging trends, escalating where required.
• Analyse performance data and prepare reports to support program delivery and policy development.
• Maintain accurate records so funding arrangements comply with legislation, policy and operational guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in grants management, contract management, program delivery, compliance, stakeholder engagement or a related field.
• Australian citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
• Training and support are provided.

• Analytical, problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures and legislative frameworks and apply them to operations.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
