Graduate / Undergraduate Accountant – Business Advisory Services

About the role

This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or current undergraduate students seeking hands‑on experience in public practice accounting. You will work closely with senior team members and receive structured training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Work with accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other bookkeeping functions.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Assist with tax compliance and the preparation of individual and company tax returns.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and perform data entry, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Respond to client queries and provide general administrative support.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
• Familiarity with MYOB accounting software.
