External Auditor Senior Associate

About the role

As a Senior Associate in PwC's Adelaide Audit team, you will support the delivery of high‑quality external audit services for a diverse client base, ranging from fast‑growing companies to large entities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing external audits of financial statements in line with regulatory and professional standards.
• Conduct substantive testing and detailed audit procedures to identify risks and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assess internal controls and risk‑management processes to support audit conclusions.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and reports for clients and senior team members.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve complex accounting and audit issues.

Required profile

• Australian citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.
• 2‑4 years of experience in external audit, progressing toward or holding a recognised CA qualification.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate financial information and identify audit risks.
• Effective communication skills for preparing findings and interacting with clients and stakeholders.
• Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.
