Graduate Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor for its commercial team. This entry-level role involves working closely with senior commercial managers and quantity surveyors to help manage all costs of infrastructure and construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures. Recent graduates can expect hands-on experience, structured mentorship and career growth within a dynamic infrastructure services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Support senior team members with cost analysis, feasibility studies and budgetary control for infrastructure projects.
• Help value work completed on-site to support interim payments and final accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly commercial reports, cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow analyses.
• Take part in site visits to verify progress, measure completed works and assess contract variations.
• Help manage subcontractor accounts, including reviewing payment applications and assessing variations.
• Maintain accurate commercial records, correspondence and contract documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a closely related construction/engineering discipline.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with strong organisational and time-management skills.

Required skills

• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
• Familiarity with measurement software or CAD is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work with internal teams, subcontractors and clients.
