Facilities Manager (Relocate to Chinchilla, QLD)

About the role

Sodexo is recruiting a Facilities Manager in Chinchilla, Queensland, on a full-time basis with a Monday to Friday roster. The role focuses on operational delivery of facilities, maintaining consistency and client relationships, and managing a portfolio of assets. It suits an organised, motivated person who works closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct reports at Supervisor, Leading Hand, Trades and sub-contractor level
• Manage the execution of approved asset management plans and operational practices
• Identify project improvements and ensure compliance with the client's processes
• Deliver service consistently and meet contractual targets within budget and scope

Required profile

• Trade or engineering background with a sound understanding of operations and maintenance in facilities and asset management
• Comprehensive knowledge of building compliance requirements and workplace health and safety regulations
• Proven record in financial and budget management and people management, including performance management
• Ability to travel safely to and from work and to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
• A National Police Check within the last 6 months
