Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

Join Rendel Ingerop Pty Ltd as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer and contribute to major infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering geotechnical design and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical design and analysis, including ground interpretation, foundation and retaining wall design, slope stability assessment and finite element analysis.
• Conduct inspections and supervise onsite works in Australia.
• Adopt standardised procedures, peer‑review work products and ensure consistency and excellence in technical delivery.
• Follow company health and safety policies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Distinction or higher Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Australian Standards and other industry standards.
• Understanding of contract forms, construction methodologies and civil engineering procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and numeracy skills with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Competence with MS Office applications.
• Ability to develop and use proprietary structural analysis programmes.
