Graduate Engineer

About the role

Eptec is seeking a recent engineering graduate to join its Defence Solutions team in Osborne, SA. You will work on critical defence projects, receive mentoring from senior engineers, and develop your career in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project elements such as QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, and supplies.
• Support project management with administrative tasks, including managing briefs, schedules, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare project documentation, Gantt charts, and specifications for minor projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Assist with risk analysis, develop mitigation plans, conduct job safety analyses, and prepare cost estimates and specifications for procurement.
• Contribute to achieving project performance baselines, establishing and monitoring controls to meet quality, time, and cost constraints.

Required profile

• Recently graduated with an engineering degree in Civil, Materials Science, Mechanical or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Valid driver’s licence, car, and Australian citizenship (security clearance required).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
