Graduate Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

Based in Rydalmere, you will join the Industrial Refrigeration team to support engineering and installation solutions for a wide range of industrial projects across Australia. This graduate position offers hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to delivery, commissioning and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and develop industrial refrigeration system designs.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, proposals and tender submissions.
• Analyse existing refrigeration systems to identify optimisation and upgrade opportunities.
• Support project delivery activities including procurement, scheduling, supplier coordination and administration.
• Help manage project budgets, costs and reporting requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across engineering and project‑management processes.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and technical support for new refrigeration systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Exposure to thermodynamics and fluid mechanics through academic study.
• Ability to read, interpret and develop engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
