Grader Operator – Civil Earthworks

About the role

MACA, a Thiess company, is delivering civil construction services for a new greenfield copper mine in Northwest Queensland. We are looking for experienced Grader Operators to join a 2:1 roster team, with options for BIBO, FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane, and on‑site accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate GPS‑Dozer or UTS/Final Trim graders (140M, 150M, 16M) to perform bulk and final‑trim earthworks.
• Maintain equipment to the highest safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with large civil crews to meet project milestones.
• Adhere to site safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Current civil earthworks tickets and relevant experience.
• Proven experience operating GPS Dozer or UTS/Final Trim graders.
• Background in bulk and final‑trim earthworks.
• Ability to work on a 14/7 roster and in team‑oriented environments.
