Grade 2 Pharmacist – Compounding Services

About the role

A permanent, full‑time Grade 2 Pharmacist position is available in the new Compounding Suite at Northern Health. The role supports safe aseptic, cytotoxic and biological compounding for patients across multiple campuses and will involve flexible hours, after‑hours and on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare aseptic, cytotoxic and biological treatments in accordance with standards and departmental procedures.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Department to develop operational processes and embed safe compounding practices.
• Travel between Northern Health campuses and partner organisations as required.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience, including at least 1 year in aseptic production.
• Training in aseptic and cytotoxic production.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and self‑management skills.
