Global Performance Account Manager

About the role

Google’s Large Customer Sales team is looking for a Global Performance Account Manager to drive advertising solutions for major brands. You will partner with customers to understand their marketing objectives, design data‑driven campaigns across Search, YouTube and Measurement, and deliver measurable business impact. The role combines consultative sales, performance marketing expertise and strong relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and influence key customer stakeholders by leading strategic meetings to uncover marketing goals and KPIs, translating them into actionable campaign strategies.
• Drive exceptional campaign results, quantify business impact, and demonstrate expert value to customers while maintaining account hygiene.
• Build and pitch data‑driven solutions to maximize customer value through Google’s advertising suite, handle objections, and achieve sales growth targets.
• Analyze campaign data, ensure performance is optimized, and provide actionable insights to customers.
• Collaborate with internal sellers, product specialists and agencies to shape advertising strategies in the AI era.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media or marketing.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a business‑related field.
• Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• At least 1 year managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and agency relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the search industry and performance‑marketing background.
