About the role
Join Aurecon's Ground and Underground team in Queensland as a Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist. You will work on a variety of infrastructure and energy projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, high‑quality solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and delivery of geotechnical site investigations in line with relevant standards.
- Assist with geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting across multiple projects.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and deliver technical outputs.
- Contribute to documentation and high‑quality technical deliverables for infrastructure, linear and energy programmes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology (or related discipline).
- 2–3 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering or geology.
- Experience with site investigations and willingness to travel as required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive learning attitude.
Required skills
- Familiarity with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience, OpenGround, or Leapfrog.
