About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term position is for a Registrar in General Surgery within a regional health service in New South Wales. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care to older adults.

Key responsibilities

Provide medical assessment and management of geriatric surgical patients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive geriatric assessments and care plans.
Support safe and effective discharge planning.
Participate in ongoing clinical review and patient management.

Required profile

Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality patient care.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
