General Practitioner – Bulk‑Billing Clinic in Ipswich

About the role

Medrecruit is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join a thriving, GP‑owned bulk‑billing clinic in Ipswich. The role offers a supportive environment with strong patient demand and modern facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient consultations in 10‑minute standard slots, with 20‑minute slots for complex cases.
• Utilise eight newly refurbished consultation rooms, on‑site pathology laboratory and strong nursing support.
• Adhere to a defined prescribing policy that excludes opioids and benzodiazepines.
• Maintain efficient patient flow, typically keeping wait times around 20 minutes.
• Participate in eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments for additional earnings.

Required profile

• FRACGP or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Eligibility for AHPRA registration via the Expedited Pathway (e.g., FRNZCGP, MRCGP + CCT, MICGP + CCT).

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis.
• Prescription management following clinic policy.

What we offer

• Competitive remuneration – $150 AUD per hour guarantee for the first three months or 70 % of billings, whichever is greater.
