Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Karbon is looking for a Mid‑Level Fullstack Engineer to join its API and Integrations team. You will work in an agile environment building interactive web applications that power an AI‑driven practice management platform used by accounting firms worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new product features and improve existing functionality with a focus on reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Balance speed and quality by making thoughtful trade‑offs and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Use data and experimentation (including A/B testing) to inform product decisions and improve acquisition and conversion.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, solution exploration, and test creation while ensuring thorough review.
• Work autonomously, taking ownership of problems and delivering solutions without waiting for predefined answers.

Required profile

• Solid frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Ember, or equivalent).
• Comfortable working across the full stack to build rich, interactive user interfaces.
• Strong fundamentals in building web applications using C# and .NET (MVC, Web API.NET Core a plus).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and data flow in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.
