About the role
Better Pet Vets is seeking a friendly, organised full‑time receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. Working four days a week (38 hours) with one rostered day off, you will help create a welcoming and efficient clinic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage the flow of pets and people through the clinic.
- Schedule appointments, process payments and keep accurate client records.
- Provide clear, compassionate communication and support to clients both in person and over the phone.
- Assist with administrative tasks, marketing support and stock control.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and customer service.
- Support veterinary and nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Calm under pressure with a genuine love for animals and people.
