Full-Time Customer Service & Sales Consultant - Runaway Bay

About the role

Telstra is hiring a full-time Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its retail shop in Runaway Bay. The consultant provides frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards. The role is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find the right products and services to suit their needs
• Stay up to date with the latest gadgets and services and give informed advice
• Use consultative selling to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Work closely with the team to create a welcoming environment and help achieve store goals

Required profile

• Great communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Sales drive and motivation to exceed targets
• Eagerness to learn and a resilient, positive attitude
• Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Annual fixed remuneration of $73,550 per year (junior rates apply for those under 20); penalty rates of 25% after 6 PM on weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
