Full Stack Software Engineer – Integrations

About the role

Protecht is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on integrations to join its Sydney engineering team. You will design, build, and own scalable integration solutions that connect enterprise systems to the Protecht.ERM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and lead delivery of complex integration solutions using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
• Drive technical design and implementation of REST API integrations at scale.
• Own end‑to‑end client integration projects, collaborating with consultants and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable integration workflows.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of integration, API, and automation issues in production.
• Develop advanced scripts and data‑transformation logic while enforcing code‑quality standards.
• Contribute to technical roadmap, engineering standards and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Java development skills.
• Demonstrated full‑stack development experience and familiarity with enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep expertise with REST APIs, web services and large‑scale system integration.
• Hands‑on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato or MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in Java plus additional experience in JavaScript, Python or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud‑based SaaS platforms and modern distributed architectures.
