Full Stack Developer

About the role

Millennium Digital Consulting is seeking a full‑time Full Stack Developer to join its Application Sustainment and Feature Enhancement workstream in Canberra. The role involves designing, developing, testing and maintaining modern web applications across both front‑end and back‑end layers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement responsive user interfaces and ensure cross‑browser/device compatibility.
• Build, integrate and maintain APIs and server‑side logic using modern frameworks.
• Optimize application performance and contribute to DevSecOps maturity uplift.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and other developers to refine requirements and deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of development practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in front‑end development with CSS and responsive design.
• Solid background in back‑end development, creating and maintaining server‑side logic and data integration.
• Ability to work across the full application stack and bridge front‑end and back‑end components.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• CSS for responsive UI development.
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Server‑side technologies like Node.js.NET or Java.
• Relational and NoSQL database familiarity.
• Version control with Git.
• Automated testing practices.
