Full Stack Developer - Angular Web Application

About the role

Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Full Stack Developers to sustain and enhance a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers application maintenance, feature development, security remediation and integration with an enterprise data platform. The position is onsite in Canberra.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Angular-based enterprise web application
• Deliver application integration, remediation and enhancement work
• Build and deliver new features
• Support integration with, and data migration to, an enterprise data platform
• Remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings and identified vulnerabilities
• Apply secure software development practices
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and contribute to test automation
• Support security compliance and accreditation activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Support knowledge transfer to government staff

Required profile

• Full-stack development experience on enterprise web applications
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with back-end services and databases
• Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities
• Experience working in agile delivery teams
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience working on applications for Defence or another Australian Government agency
• Australian citizenship and a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance (minimum)

Required skills

• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
• REST API development
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Desirable: SBOM tools such as CycloneDX or SPDX, data migration to the Defence One Defence Data platform, knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM), and OWASP secure development guidance
