Frozen Shell Operator and Team Leader (Chocolate Production)

About the role

Koko Black is looking for motivated individuals to join its Frozen Shell team at the Creative Centre. You will be responsible for producing the chocolate shells that underpin many of the brand’s premium products, ensuring safety, efficiency and top‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot frozen shell production equipment according to standard procedures.
• Produce frozen chocolate shells that meet quality and production specifications.
• Carry out quality and food‑safety checks throughout the process, following HACCP and GMP requirements.
• Complete accurate production records and maintain documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and hygienic.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Support continuous‑improvement and safe‑work initiatives.
• For the Team Leader role: coordinate daily workflow, coach staff, ensure quality checks, and liaise with QA, Maintenance and Supply Chain.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing, food production or FMCG environments is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well in a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic.
• For the Team Leader position, prior experience leading or coordinating manufacturing teams is preferred.

Required skills

• Operation of production equipment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP food‑safety standards.
