Frontend Developer - React

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our Sydney team and build high‑quality web applications using React. You will work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver responsive, performant user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable front‑end applications with React.js (v17/18).
• Create reusable components and libraries for future projects.
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive web pages.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely fixes.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state‑management tools such as Redux, Redux Toolkit or Context API.
• Proficiency in consuming REST APIs using Axios or Fetch.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, Git version control and unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
