Front Office Duty Manager

About the role

Journey Beyond is recruiting a Front Office Duty Manager for its Monarto Safari Resort, located less than an hour from Adelaide. Working under the direction of the Front Office Manager, you will lead and oversee all aspects of the Front Office to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The resort offers spacious rooms and suites, 20 luxury tents and a private lodge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality guest service by managing guest experiences and hotel operations
• Prioritise workload and allocate tasks so the team delivers memorable experiences
• Develop your team's skills to improve hotel performance
• Have authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns
• Be the first point of contact for critical emergency situations

Required profile

• Duty Manager experience in a hotel setting with a passion for excellent guest service
• Valid visa with the right to work in Australia
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• First Aid and basic CPR certification
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Knowledge of NewBook is desirable but not essential
