About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who can convert Gaelic (Irish) content into English, focusing on life‑science materials such as clinical trial documents. This role allows you to work with a global leader in analytics and clinical research, delivering high‑quality translations on tight deadlines.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Gaelic (Irish) – spoken and written.
- Fluent in English – spoken and written.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑science content, clearly outlined in your CV.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
Required skills
- Experience with translation management systems.
- Proficiency with CAT (Computer‑Assisted Translation) tools.
- Prior experience with a translation or localisation company (desirable).
