About the role
Join IQVIA's Translation Services team as a freelance translator specializing in English‑to‑Portuguese (Brazil) for life‑science content. Work remotely with a global leader to deliver high‑quality translations for clinical trial documents and other scientific materials.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit English source texts into Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring accuracy and compliance with life‑science terminology.
- Meet tight project deadlines while maintaining independence and high standards of quality.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written) and fluent English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing and editing life‑science content, clearly outlined in your CV.
- University degree in translation or linguistics with ≥2 years experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years experience.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT (Computer‑Assisted Translation) tools.
