About the role
Join IQVIA's Translation Services team as a freelance translator specializing in English to Welsh for life‑sciences content. You will work remotely with a global leader, delivering clinical trial documents and other scientific materials to Welsh‑speaking markets.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit English life‑sciences documents into Welsh, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality, using translation management systems and CAT tools.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Welsh (spoken and written) and fluent English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing or editing life‑sciences content, with specific document types listed on your CV.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, or no degree with ≥5 years experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools.
