About the role
Join IQVIA's Translation Services team as a freelance translator specializing in English to Afrikaans for life sciences content. Work remotely with a global community of linguists to deliver high‑quality translations for clinical trial documents and related materials.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review, and edit English source material into Afrikaans, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high linguistic standards for life sciences content.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Afrikaans (spoken and written) and fluency in English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating life sciences content, with documented experience in clinical trial documents.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, or no degree with ≥5 years experience.
- Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT tools.
