Freelance Catalan to English Translator

About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who can convert Catalan life‑sciences content into English. You will join a global community of linguists and work on clinical trial documents and other scientific materials for a leading analytics and research provider.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit life‑sciences content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Deliver high‑quality translations within tight deadlines while working independently.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English (target language) and fluency in Catalan (source language), both spoken and written.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑sciences documents, clearly outlined in your CV.
- Either a university degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years of experience, or no degree with ≥5 years of translation experience.
- Ability to work remotely, meet strict deadlines, and operate without supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools.
