About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators to convert Afrikaans life‑science content into English. You will join a global community of linguists and work on clinical trial documents and other regulatory materials.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit Afrikaans source texts into accurate English.
- Deliver high‑quality translations within tight deadlines for various life‑science projects.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English and fluency in Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- At least 1 year of experience translating life‑science content, with documented experience in clinical trial documents.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, or no degree with ≥5 years experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems and CAT tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
