Forklift Operator - High Reach & Counterbalance

About the role

AWX, a labour hire and recruitment company, is recruiting experienced and entry-level forklift operators for warehouse, manufacturing and distribution sites across Brisbane's south side, including Wacol, Richlands, Rocklea, Berrinba, Darra and Inala. Day, afternoon, night and rotating shifts are available, with immediate starts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate LF and LO forklifts safely and efficiently, including high-reach forklift operation
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Receive and dispatch goods
• Carry out warehouse and stores operations
• Perform general labouring and manual handling tasks
• Assist production and manufacturing teams as required
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Required profile

• Current LF forklift licence; an LO licence is highly regarded for some opportunities
• Previous forklift experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or distribution
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
• Physically fit for manual handling, reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Pay rates from $34.00 to $41.50+ per hour
