About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Food Services Assistant in Strathalbyn. The role centres on preparing food and drink for residents in an aged care setting, working with the team and residents to create meals that suit each person. Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for everyone
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of your shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
