Food Services Assistant - Casual

About the role

Estia Health Dandenong, an aged care provider with 96 homes across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, is looking for an experienced Food Services Assistant to join its team on a casual basis. The role sits in a home near Dandenong Hospital, public transport and a multicultural shopping area.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals that suit every individual
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of your shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care experience is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
