About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Food Services Assistant for its aged care home in Salisbury East. The role centres on preparing food and drink for residents and keeping the kitchen clean, working with the team and residents to create meals that suit everyone's needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for every individual
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of your shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
